Twenty beautiful and inspirational young women from across the country will be vying for the coveted Miss World Australia title in an eventful four day national final.
In its 61st year, the pageant has lost none of its prestige, with the winner to represent Australia in the Miss World international final held in London on November 6th in front of a televised audience of over 2 billion.
Miss World is the largest and longest running international pageant with charity work integral to its ethos.

The President of the Miss World Organization, Julia Morley, coined the phrase 'Beauty With A Purpose' more than 25 years ago and since then more than $400 million (USD) has been raised in its name to support charities across the globe, bringing help and hope to hundreds of thousands in need.
Internationally, Miss World has launched the careers of many inspirational and successful women such as Halle Berry, Lynda Carter, Aishwarya Rai, Vanessa Williams and Michelle Yeoh. Past notable title holders of Miss World Australia include Belinda Green (Miss World 1972), Lauren Csortan, Sabrina Houssami and Caroline Pemberton.

Miss World Australia identifies young Australian women who exemplify beauty, talent and intelligence. It aims to create new role models who through the beauty pageant will serve as ambassadors to charity, enrich the perception of beauty and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of women while positively impacting their communities. The Miss World Australia national final will kick off at Kryal Castle, Ballarat, with a welcome cocktail event followed by a grueling fitness programme. The finalists will then descend on Melbourne to hold a ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ Charity Lunch on August 26 alongside a panel of celebrities. The Charity Lunch will also host swimwear judging and raise much-needed funds through raffles and unprecedented auction items. The top item is a lunch for four at The Lodge with the First Bloke Tim Mathieson and the chance to be pampered by Victoria Beckham’s and Madonna’s personal beauty therapist/facialist.

On August 27, the current Miss World Australia Ashleigh Francis will hand over her crown to one of the 20 finalists. Final judging and crowning of Miss World Australia will take place at a Gala Cocktail held at CQ Functions. The after party will be overlooking the night lights of Melbourne at the breathtaking Blue Diamond.
This four day event will be filmed in its entirety for a TV special our Deportment and Etiquette specialist, Ms Susie Wilson from Susie Wilson Image will feature whilst training the contestants..

All profit raised during the four day national final will be donated to Children First and Variety, the children’s charity.
